KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Bangladesh have lost their first match against Uzbekistan at the ongoing Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Central Zone Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship in a straight 3-0.
In the match played at Nepal Army’s Physical Fitness and Training Center in Lalitpur on Monday evening,
Uzbekistan defeated Bangladesh 16-25, 16-25 and 23-25. Earlier today in an inaugural match of the tournament Turkmenistan defeated Afghanistan by 32-30,16-25,27-25, 26-24.
Likewise Kyrgyzstan beats host Nepal 25-23, 25-22, 25-22. The hosts have faced a disappointing result as they are eyeing to reach in the finals of the tournament.
